What is facebook to us?
A collection of idealistic moments in our lives. We display them for others to see, and we pour over the images that others post. I wish I could travel like they do. I wish I was as beautiful, or had such nice things. Yet it’s only a shallow representation that we take that as verbatim. No one writes on their wall about their pitfalls, or their misgivings in life, because if they do, it’s understood that they are asking for attention, begging someone to tell them that it’s all going to be okay. Yes you are beautiful, no you aren’t fat, and I can’t believe someone said that to you at the bank today!
Maybe these are just nonsensical ramblings, but I do know that I don’t like what social media has become.
Queen Elizabeth II paid a visit to the Game of Thrones set in Belfast, Ireland, on Tuesday. Look out, Westeros. Though she may already be sitting on the Throne of England, it looks like Queen Elizabeth II has her eyes on the Iron Throne too.
Amazing. This and that the British Monarchy is on Instagram.
wow, Daenerys really took her time getting to Westeros
That last comment. :D
